Organizer: Configuring Lessons

I have an activity that has multiple times (for example, swim lessons, music lessons tutoring) . How do I start?

After you create your season, you will create you activity and choose lesson set as the type.

When you do this, the activity’s “Days and times” field will become disabled, and you will add individual “Time slots” in a different place.

Save the new activity (either as a draft or published), then click on the activity name to go into the activity details page to add Time slots.

You can add as many time slots as you need to a Lesson set from the “Time slots” tab. Each time slot will appear in the registration flow as an independently enrollable option with its own roster.

There are multiple instructors that teach lessons at my school. Do I need to set up different activities for each instructor, or can each time slot have a different instructor?

Each time slot may have its own assigned instructor, or you may leave the instructor field blank. When an Instructor is assigned to a time slot, it shows up for families in the registration flow.

Some of my instructors get a higher rate for their lessons. Can I add a time slot that has a different price from the others?

Yes, you can edit activity details for the specific time slot (“Mon 9:45am with Christopher”) to give it a unique price from the other time slots. If you don’t explicitly add a price for a time slot, it will be sold at the price you set on the main Lesson set.

How do I access the roster or the waitlist for a specific time slot?

You can click into the time slot to see specific information about that time slot, including Enrollments (Enrolled/Waitlisted/Removed students), Attendance, Billing and Attendance.

Where do I set up Registration questions for a Lesson set?

You can set up Registration questions at the Season-level to have them apply to all activities (including time slots) in the season. Alternatively, you can set up Registration questions for a Lesson set and they will apply to all time slots in the lesson set.
